Opening Day at Dodger Stadium
Los Angeles Dodgers Opening Day has long been a tradition of Sun, Dodger Dogs and Beer. On Monday April 5th 2004 in front of the Largest Dodgers Opening Day crowd at Dodger Stadium the San Diego Padres went on to Defeat the Dodgers 8 to 2. Even with twenty base runners the Los Angeles Dodgers still could not come up with the necessary hits to score.
Hideo Nomo started off the game but was pulled in the 5th inning after giving up a grand slam to Phil Nevin and a two run homer to Jay Payton.
This years Dodgers Opening Day game is expected to be even bigger with the San Francisco Giants coming into town for the first of three games.
